Was the death of Christ in vain? Though Christians recoil at such a suggestion, the apostle Paul said that if certain things are true, then the death of Jesus was indeed without meaning. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak we learn some of the reasons Christ died and how many in religion make His death void where they are concerned.
As Jesus commenced with His personal ministry, He began calling His first disciples. The first two had been disciples of John the Baptizer. When John pointed them to Jesus, they followed behind Him and perhaps upon hearing their footsteps, Jesus turned and asked "What seek ye?" or "What are you looking for?" Though this question may seem incidental and a simply means of beginning a conversation with these men, the query had much greater implications and it is one we must answer today if we would follow the Lord. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we take up the soul-searching question: "What Are You Looking For?"
