The near 2,000-year history of the church is marked by a multitude of innovations to what was originally revealed by Christ and His apostles. How should we react to these changes? Are all changes wrong? Should Christians be content for their faith and practice to evolve with the passing of time and cultural transition? In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we present part 2 of our series on “Innovations and the Divine Pattern”. We pose the question “What Is Wrong With Innovations?”

The church established by Jesus Christ upon the foundation of His apostles is complete and perfect in its design. It did not take long, however, for mankind to corrupt it with human ideas and arrangements. The 2,000-year history of the church has been one largely of change and departure from the divine pattern. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we begin a series of studies about Innovations and the Divine Pattern with an overview called “A History Of Innovation”. Like and share the video. All Christians rejoice over the birth of the Jesus Christ. His birth changed history forever. Was He born on the day many observe as his birthday? Are the stories so often told about His birth accurate? And did the early church set aside a particular day to celebrate the birth of the Christ child? In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak we look at some misconceptions about the birth of Jesus.
Baptism is an essential step in becoming a disciple of Jesus. The bible connects several blessings with immersion that are only received when the penitent believer submits to this step of obedience. Most religious organizations practice baptism or something they call baptism but are all of these baptisms scriptural? Paul told the Ephesians there is one baptism that unites believers in Christ. What about your baptism? In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak we look at Ten Marks of Bible Baptism.
Jesus is coming again but is He coming to rule on earth for 1,000 years? The doctrine of Dispensational Premillennialism is one of the most widely and zealously spread doctrines in religion today. It predicts that Christians will be raptured to heaven before a dark tribulation befalls the earth. After seven years, it is claimed that the Battle of Armegeddon will be fought in the Middle East and the victorious Jesus will come to Jerusalem, set up His kingdom and rule over the earth for a millennium. We are thus living in the church age and supposedly waiting for the kingdom age. But does this popular doctrine square with Christ's teaching about His own kingdom? Today's sermon at Let The Bible Speak continues our series on the kingdom. We hope you'll take half an hour to watch, then share it with others.
The kingdom of Christ is one of the most fundamental subjects in the word of God. The history of redemption on earth culminates in the coming of this long-promised kingdom. But what is it? What does it mean for Christ to reign? Has the kingdom come and is Jesus reigning now? Many expect a physical, earthly reign of Jesus to commence in Jerusalem in the millennium, as they understand it. Is this the teaching of scripture concerning the reign of Jesus? These and other questions are addressed in this first part of a series on the kingdom of Christ.
Was the death of Christ in vain? Though Christians recoil at such a suggestion, the apostle Paul said that if certain things are true, then the death of Jesus was indeed without meaning. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak we learn some of the reasons Christ died and how many in religion make His death void where they are concerned.
As Jesus commenced with His personal ministry, He began calling His first disciples. The first two had been disciples of John the Baptizer. When John pointed them to Jesus, they followed behind Him and perhaps upon hearing their footsteps, Jesus turned and asked "What seek ye?" or "What are you looking for?" Though this question may seem incidental and a simply means of beginning a conversation with these men, the query had much greater implications and it is one we must answer today if we would follow the Lord. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we take up the soul-searching question: "What Are You Looking For?"
Many churches are troubled today. False doctrine has polluted their pulpits, worldliness has compromised their example, or division has diminished their power. Troubled churches are not new. The Apostle Paul and other inspired writers were faced with trouble in churches of the first century. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, the former host of this program, Ronny Wade, joins us to talk about the Remedy For A Troubled Church.
In part one of this study, we saw that not only did God institute marriage as a bond between a man and a woman, He also joined other principles together in the plan of redemption. In the second half of 'What God Has Joined Together', we learn about two more theological unions that should not be broken.
